Your Library can hold all kinds of items that are crucial to your practice, think meditations, intake forms, assessments, and more! The type of resources Homecoming currently lets you add are:

  • Links

  • Images

  • Audio files

  • Text files

  • Documents (any file type)

  • Custom forms (include multiple question types to add from)

You can store and organize resources into Collections, and send them to clients directly. Discover curated collections from other practitioners and partners, and add them to your Library!

To access your Library, you can click the Library button in the top navigation.

πŸ“š Add a resource to your Library

To add a resource to your Library, click on the Add to library dropdown in the top right:

Then, click on the resource type you'd like to add and follow the steps for each below:

πŸ”— Link

In the modal that appears, paste any link you'd like. This can be a YouTube video, website, Google Form, etc.

Once you paste it in, we'll fetch the thumbnail and title (if any exist). You can edit the Title of the link here if you'd like something else.

When you're ready, click Add to library and the link will be added to your Library

πŸ–ΌοΈ Image

In the modal that appears, click on Upload a JPG or PNG file and select an image from your computer.

Only .jpg/.jpeg and .png image uploads are currently supported. For everything else, please use the File type.

Once uploaded, you can update the title of the image.

When you're ready, click the Add to library button to add that work of art to your Library.

πŸ“„ File

In the modal that appears, click on Upload a file and choose a file from your computer.

You’ll only be able to upload PDF files that are up to 100mb.

Once uploaded, you can update the title of the file.

When you're ready, click the Add to library button to add the file to your Library.

🎢 Audio

In the modal that appears, click on Upload MP3 or M4A file and select an audio file from your computer.

Only .mp3 and .m4a format for audio files is currently supported.

Once uploaded, you can update the title of the audio file.

When you're ready, click the Add to library button to add the audio file to your Library.

πŸ“‹ Form

Custom forms are a great way to bring your external documents into Homecoming. Instead of having clients fill out a PDF or Word document, why not recreate the form in Homecoming, so it's all in one place!

You'll need to give your custom form a name and description and include at least one question type.

Custom forms offer a multitude of question-types you can include:

  • Statements (read-only)

  • Short Text

  • Long Text

  • Multiple Choice

  • Multiple Select

  • E-Signature

Once you're all set with your questions, click Save in the top right to add the form to your Library.

πŸ“‚ Create a Collection

Collections are a powerful way to organize your resources! You're free to organize by modality, by client, by resource types, or whatever way works for you.

To create a collection in your Library, click on Create a collection in the left-hand menu

Give your collection a name and click Create collection.

You'll be taken to your empty collection, now you can start filling it with new resources or existing ones in your Library!

πŸ—‚οΈ Add or remove a resource from a Collection

You can organize your Library with Collections, so everything isn't cluttered up in the main list. Resources can belong to many collections as well.

The resource will be removed from your collection and you can find it again in your main Library list or other collections.

✏️ Edit Resource and Collection Names

You can always update the name of a resource or collection you created in your Library.

To update the name of a resource:

  1. In your Library, find the resource you want to rename

  2. Click on the ... dropdown to the right of the resource

  3. Select Rename collection, update the name, and then click Rename collection

πŸ”Ž Search your Library for resources

You can search through your Library with ease, using either the search bar or by filtering resource-types.

Currently, search and filter will only work in either your main Library list or in a collection, not across everything.

🌎 Discover curated collection from our partners

From time-to-time, Homecoming will partner with some of our practitioners and partners to bring you collections of content that you can add to your Library for free!

Check them out to see if they're a fit for your practice, then add them to your Library.

You can find curated collections in your Library, by clicking Discover in the left hand menu.

Here you'll have the ability to preview the collections and then can add them to your library. Doing so will create a new collection in your Library.

πŸ—ƒοΈ Delete a resource from your Library

Resources you’ve added to your Library can be deleted. If you find a resource is no longer useful or taking up too much real estate, you can delete it.

There are two ways to delete a resource.

In your Library, find the resource in your main library list, or in a collection, then click the ... dropdown menu on the right side of the resource.

Click Delete resource and then confirm the deletion by clicking Delete in the modal.

The other way is to find the resource in your library list or collection and click on it. Doing so will open up a side panel.

From here you can click Delete resource and then confirm the deletion by clicking Delete in the modal.

Deleting a resource that’s already been sent to clients through Mail will not affect their ability to view or complete that resource.
